What is Clay App exactly?

How is Clay App different from Bsport, Mindbody and Eversports?

How much does Clay App cost per month?

Clay App Starter is €399/month (up to 200 active members, clayapp.nl subdomain). Studio is €499/month (unlimited members, custom domain included). Custom is quoted for chains and EMS. No platform fee on top of Mollie.

Do you charge a transaction fee like Mindbody (+3.5%)?

No. Clay App charges 0% platform fee on top of standard Mollie rates (iDEAL, EU cards, SEPA). You pay Mollie only, not an extra margin like Mindbody. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.

Do payments come straight to my bank account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Clay App uses Mollie Connect (split payments): funds land in your own Mollie account, not a platform balance. Standard payout is T+2 working days to your IBAN. You handle refunds in your Mollie dashboard.

Am I locked into an annual contract?

Accepted Answer

No. Clay App is cancel-any-month from your admin. No 12-month Bsport lock-in or long Eversports contracts. After cancellation you have 30 days to export all data via CSV and API.

Do you resell my members to ClassPass or Urban Sports Club?

Accepted Answer

No. Clay App is not an aggregator and does not push your members to ClassPass or Urban Sports Club. You decide if and how you work with marketplaces, on your terms and pricing.

Where is my data hosted? Is Clay GDPR-compliant?

Accepted Answer

All Clay App data stays in the EU: Postgres in Frankfurt, hosting on Vercel EU, assets in Amsterdam, email via Resend EU. Clay is GDPR-ready; you are the data controller for member data. DPA and sub-processors are in our privacy policy.

Can I use my own brand and domain?

Yes. Clay App is fully white-label: your logo, colours, domain (e.g. app.yourgym.com) and email sender. Members never see Clay App branding, only your studio.

Yes. Clay App supports per-reformer capacity caps, credit packs by class type and automatic waitlist promotion when a spot opens within your cancellation window.

Can I migrate from Bsport, Mindbody, Eversports or Trainin?

Yes. Clay App migrates your members, active subscriptions and credit balances from CSV at no extra cost. Most studios run one to two weeks in parallel before switching fully.

Clay App is a Progressive Web App (PWA): members add app.yourgym.com to their home screen in one tap. No App Store review, no 30% Apple/Google cut on in-app sales.

How fast can I go live with Clay App?

Accepted Answer

With self-service you are live on yourgym.clayapp.nl within an hour: account, connect Mollie and publish your schedule. A custom domain usually follows within one business day after DNS setup.

What about reliability and double-bookings?

Accepted Answer

Clay App processes bookings atomically with rollback on oversell. Mollie webhooks are idempotent on event ID, retries never cause double charges or missed renewals.

Can my staff log in without seeing everything?

Yes. Clay App enforces owner, staff and trainer roles per tenant. Trainers only see their own classes and clients; every request is scoped to your subdomain.
