Create your tenant
Submit your gym name, URL slug, owner email and country at /onboarding. We provision your tenant in the multi-tenant database, scope a `readByTenant` workspace and boot the admin with brutal defaults so it never looks empty.
yourgym.clayapp.nl resolves with TLS auto-issued and the admin portal is live. - ~ 10 min
Connect Stripe Connect
We auto-create a Stripe Express connected account and hand you the Stripe-hosted onboarding link. Add your KvK, IBAN and verify ownership. Once Stripe flips `charges_enabled`, the webhook syncs your tenant and direct charges go live.
iDEAL, SEPA, card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are switched on — funds land in your IBAN, not our balance. - ~ 15 min
Brand, plans and content
Set your colour, logo and copy in the admin. Create membership plans (credit subscriptions, class packs or unlimited) which create matching Stripe Prices automatically. Optional: attach a custom domain like app.yourgym.com (Studio plan, or €29/mo add-on on Starter).
Members only ever see your brand. No Clay App watermark, no aggregator subdomain. - ~ 30 min
Schedule and first members
Build your weekly recurring schedule in the admin (copy-week, capacity caps, cancellation rules). Or upload a CSV exported from Bsport, Mindbody or Eversports — we ingest members, plans and credit balances at zero cost.
Doors open. Members book on their phone via your PWA, credits deduct atomically, waitlists auto-promote.

Coming from Bsport, Mindbody or Eversports?
Send us a CSV export of your members, plans and credit balances. We migrate them across at zero cost — renewal dates and credit balances stay intact — and most studios run both platforms in parallel for two weeks before cutting over.
Questions about joining
- No. Tenant creation is free. You enter billing info when you connect Stripe Connect (so members can pay you), and the Clay subscription invoice only arrives once you've activated a paid plan in the admin.
- Yes. Most studios run Clay alongside their old platform for two weeks — half the schedule on each — then cut over once Stripe is reconciled and members have rebooked. We help you scope the cut-over date.
- You do. The CSV stays with you, we only ingest a copy into your tenant. Members keep their existing credit balance and renewal date — we map them directly to Stripe subscriptions on your account.
- Cancel monthly via the admin. Export the full member, booking and payment data set as CSV. Stripe is the source of truth for billing — your subscriptions keep running on your own Stripe account when you leave. We retain the data for 30 days for export, then permanently delete.
- No. The full marketing site shows the actual UI, and you can spin up a tenant in 5 minutes via /onboarding. Demo calls are reserved for Custom plans (multi-tenant chains, EMS networks, bespoke integrations) where the conversation is genuinely useful.
